On August 20, 2009, Peter Winograd, the education policy advisor to Governor Bill Richardson, gave a presentation to the College of Education faculty at its annual retreat. In his talk, entitled "Education Policy in NM: A 2009 Update on Challenges and Opportunities," Dr. Winograd detailed the challenges we face educating our children here in the State of New Mexico.
