It is with the greatest pleasure that I introduce you to EDI and welcome you to our webpage.

In addition to promoting critical dialogue about education, EDI also sponsors the LLSS faculty lecture series, student travel grants, the COE Fall Welcome Event, the COE Graduate Student Colloquium, and other exciting activities to support LLSS graduate students.

To receive more information about EDI and our activities, I encourage you to subscribe to our list serve. To Subscribe: Go to http://list.unm.edu, next select "Subscribe to a list" and type in, EDI_LLSS-L.  Keep visiting the website to find out what's new in EDI.

As your president (and fellow student), I am always happy to answer questions, help you find what you need, or chat about graduate student life in LLSS.

I am looking forward to meeting you personally, and I hope to see you at the EDI events.

Before I close, on behalf of EDI, I wish to extend my sincere thanks to Dr. Don Zancanella, Chair of LLSS, and the LLSS faculty for their continued support.

Sincerely yours,
Lisa Tsuchiya
