Ziarat Hossain, Associate professor of Family Studies in the Department of Individual, Family and Community Education has served as President of the Society for Cross-Cultural Research (SCCR) www.sccr.org

Founded in 1971, the SCCR is a national, multi-disciplinary professional organization whose members are professionals and students from various disciplines in the fields of behavioral and social sciences.
