Apply to a Teacher Education Department Degree Program
The COE Teacher Education Department is pleased to announce that applications for all B.A., B.S., and M.A. programs are being accepted online beginning January 5, 2013. Applicants will have the ability to access and complete all application materials in a centralized, online location that is available 24/7.
Interested applicants can click the links below to access the degree programs offered by the Teacher Education Department. From there, you can download the PDF application instructions specific to the program you are interested in applying to. These instructions will provide you with a comprehensive guide to all requirements, information, and supplemental materials needed to apply, as well as the link to the online application website.

Elementary Education
The Elementary Education Program offers both undergraduate and graduate degrees. These degrees contain components for licensure as an elementary educator in the State of New Mexico.
Secondary Education
The Secondary Education Program offers licensure programs at the undergraduate and graduate level as well as MA programs for experienced teachers.
The Application Deadline to the Secondary Education with Licensure, M.A. program for the Fall 2013 semester has been extended until 5pm on July 15, 2013.
Doctoral Degrees and Post Master's Certificates
The Ph.D. in Multicultural Teacher and Childhood Education is offered in the Department of Teacher Education. This degree provides for the study of teaching and curriculum and instruction in multicultural settings.
