The purpose of this organization is to promote scholarship, research, professionalism, educational interests, awareness and excellence in education, to provide a voice in departmental decision-making, to provide a body to hear student concerns, and to represent the department at the Graduate Professional Student Association.

Chi Sigma Iota 

Chi Sigma Iota is the international honor society for students, professional counselors and counselor educators established at Ohio University in 1985. Chi Sigma Iota's mission is to promote scholarship, research, professionalism, leadership and excellence in counseling, and to recognize high attainment in the pursuit of academic and clinical excellence in the profession of counseling.

The mission of Kappa Omicron Nu is empowered leaders through scholarship, research, and leadership. This mission will enable the organization and chapters to prepare scholars and researchers for the 21st century.

UNM Nutrition Student Organization

The UNM Undergraduate Nutrition Student Organization is a chartered student organization whose purpose is to provide an opportunity for Nutrition and Dietetics students to become familiar with their future profession through the university educational setting, as well as the professional community setting. Membership is open to all students who have completed one nutrition course and have an interest in nutrition.
