The College of Education seeks to support the understanding and implementation of software and technical tools that are currently available for use. In effort to provide quality resources towards increasing familiarity and confidence in utilizing the tools, tutorials have been developed for your convenience. The tutorials below serve as a gateway for quick access of vital information to assist you in enhancing instruction, daily tasks, and academic performance.

Microsoft Windows 7

Learn the basics of the newest operating system offered from Microsoft. These tutorials will provide assistance with learning your way around your computer.

Microsoft Office

Packaged tutorials have been tailored to meet the needs of COE faculty, staff, and students wanting to learn the basics of using Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.


The Statistical Package for the Social Sciences or SPSS is statistical or quantitative analysis software for social scientists, scholars and students.

Technical Tutorials

The new College of Education building showcases innovative technology for collaborative teaching and learning. Classrooms have been outfitted with interactive white boards and Polyvision CopyCams.


ATLAS.ti is a software program that analyzes large bodies of text and graphical data for qualitative research or data analysis.
