Parking for COE Events & Meetings
We hope this page will be useful to guests of the College and attendees to its various events who require guidance for parking at UNM.
The following parking instructions are categorized by location. We're doing our best to list the common events relevant to each location. A downloadable and printable PDF document is provided where possible.
Yale Parking Garage to the College of Education and Travelstead Hall
Relevant events at the Travelstead Hall may include:
- College of Education Research Showcase
- Alumni Reception
- Administrative Meetings
Domenici Auditorium of the UNM Health Science Center
Relevant events at the Domenici Auditorium may include:
- The Jane Blumenfeld Lecture Series
For guests who hold a UNM parking permit but who don’t usually park on the Health Sciences Campus, you can park in “M” lot after 3:45 pm. For guests with no UNM parking permit, complimentary parking is available in the Law School parking lot after 4:00 pm. Paid meter parking is also available in “M” lot.
Relevant events at the Hodgin Hall may include:
- Golden Graduates Day Reception
Parking is available immediately to the west of Hodgin Hall, across University Blvd. After parking, walk cross University Blvd. to the east, using the crosswalk. Follow the footpath through Tight Grove up the hill and onto the campus. Follow the sidewalk to the main entrance of Hodgin Hall on the east side of the building. Guests with mobility issues or handicap placards should make use of accessible parking in the east and west Hodgin Hall lots.
La Mesa Elementary School

Relevant events at La Mesa Elementary School may include:
- Golden Graduates Day: “Bring A Book To Life” Celebration
Parking is on west side of the school. The main entrance is on the north side—just through the archway and to the right.
801 University Blvd SE
Albuquerque, NM 87106
Relevant events at the Rotunda may include:
- Dr. Vera John-Steiner Celebration of Life
At the South Campus, park in the parking structure off ofBasehart. Then, walk east to 801 University Blvd in the Science & Technology Park. The Rotunda is in the east end of the building.
