HESS Graduate Student Association (GSA)

Mission

Promote professionalism through academic research, educational presentations and organizational participation for physical education, exercise science, health education and sport administration.

Description

Our organization is responsible for claiming, managing and distributing PB funds to graduate students in the Department of Health, Exercise and Sport Sciences (HESS). Funding is available for conference presentations, research expenses and professional conference attendance each academic year. Our organization creates the application criteria for deciding the amount given to each applicant. The committee tries very hard to make the process fair and equitable by having a representative present from each discipline within our department when decisions need to be completed.

Any graduate student in the HESS department is welcome and encouraged to join at anytime!
